Bernese Mountain Dog is an extremely talented working dog breeds from the farmlands of Switzerland. The Bernese mountain dog breeds comes from the canton of Bern, hence his name. They’re a large and sturdy dog breed, with a friendly and calm disposition, and they’re also well-suited to conformation, obedience, tracking, herding, and carting competitions.

Bernese Mountain Dog is longer than tall, though appearing square . This dog is a sturdy, large, hardy breed with a combination of strength, speed, and agility.

This dog has Big, powerful, and built for hard work, the Bernese Mountain Dog is also strikingly beautiful and blessed with a sweet, affectionate nature. Berners are generally placid but are always up for a romp with the owner, whom they live to please.

  • The Bernese Mountain Dog is an easygoing, calm family companion (that is, after the adolescent stage).
